Getting Started

Choose the right RunClaw setup path and get your first AI agent running on infrastructure you control.

RunClaw is a control plane for self-hosted AI agents. It helps you deploy and operate OpenClaw, Agent Zero, or Goose on infrastructure you control, without doing the setup and day-two ops manually.

You can start in three ways:

  • Provision on Hetzner for the easiest cloud path
  • Provision on Vultr if you prefer an alternative cloud provider
  • Connect an existing Ubuntu server over SSH if you already run your own infrastructure

What you get

Infrastructure you control

Choose a new cloud VPS on Hetzner or Vultr, or connect an Ubuntu server you already own.

One control plane

Use the same RunClaw dashboard for monitoring, updates, access control, and server operations across all three paths.

Pre-configured agents

OpenClaw, Agent Zero, or Goose — ready to deploy without rebuilding your stack from scratch.

Full control

SSH access, server ownership, and direct provider billing stay with you.

Quick start

Get your first AI agent running in three steps:

Choose your setup path

Start with the path that matches your infrastructure:

  • Provision on Hetzner if you want the easiest cloud path
  • Provision on Vultr if you prefer Vultr regions and billing
  • Connect existing Ubuntu server over SSH if you already manage a server

Deploy or connect your server

Cloud paths use the RunClaw provisioning wizard. The SSH path uses a one-line setup command from your dashboard.

Add an LLM key

Give your agent an API key from an AI provider so it can generate responses. We recommend OpenRouter if you want one key that can route across many models.

RunClaw does not own your infrastructure account. You keep the provider relationship and pay infrastructure costs directly.
